Stautberg the right choice in rematch with Brinkman

One of the most competitive primaries this spring is in House District 27 (eastern Hamilton County) where Rep. Peter Stautberg is running for his fourth term. He is being challenged by former Rep. Tom Brinkman, who served in the Ohio House from 2001-08. Brinkman challenged Stautberg in the 2012 primary as well and lost fairly decisively, 61%-39%.
A few ads from the campaign have made their way online in the past few days. A negative mail piece has received some attention, and a TV ad from the Ohio House Republican Organizational Committee (OHROC) was posted online yesterday:

The Ohio Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee (OCCPaC) endorsed Stautberg in this race in 2012, and did so again in 2014 without hesitation. Stautberg’s pro-business score during his time at the Statehouse is a perfect 100%, while Brinkman has a lifetime score of only 70%. That would place him second to last among current House Republicans. The point being – Rep. Peter Stautberg is the right candidate for building a stronger economy in Ohio. Hopefully the Republican voters in HD 27 agree.
