OHIO RISES TO #11 IN FORBES 2016 BEST STATES FOR BUSINESS

Forbes magazine just released their 11th annual Best States for Business list and Ohio is continuing its climb up the rankings. Ohio was named the 11th best state for business, up from 38th in 2011 to 26th in 2014 and 15th in 2015.

These are the categories that go into the rankings:

Quality of life                          1st

Economic Climate                 7th

Regulatory Environment   10th

Business Costs                      17th

Growth Prospects                23rd

Labor Supply                        44th

Ohio does very well compared to our neighbors. Indiana is 13th, Michigan 28th, Kentucky 37th, Pennsylvania 38th and West Virginia being 50th.

We believe this improvement is primarily due to the changes championed by Governor Kasich. The administration, legislature and business community have worked together to make Ohio better for business and have Ohio primed to give our citizens and businesses a brighter future.
