The 2014 candidate filing deadline has now come and gone (it was last Wednesday, if you didn’t know). All of the speculation about who may or may not be running is over. At a quick glance, it looks like there should be a lot of competitive races in the primary, which is now less than three months away.

To help you keep track of the candidates for General Assembly, as well as Congress, I have compiled a comprehensive list, with candidate names, political parties and mailing addresses. The list will be updated periodically and linked at the bottom of the page. Such a list is available exclusively to Ohio Chamber members and to my knowledge, you can’t find one anywhere else.

Over the coming weeks and months, be sure to check back for posts on the races and campaigns around the state, as I’ll be taking a closer look at many of them. There sure is plenty to talk about.
