Following his official swearing in at midnight, Gov. John Kasich will give his second inaugural address to the state of Ohio today at 11:30 AM. In this address, we predict he will outline his general vision for Ohio for the next four years, including hints about more tax cuts and what else might be in his next budget proposal, as well emphasize the need to improve the lives of the most vulnerable in Ohio. New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie will also be in attendance. According to an aide, Gov. Christie plans to attend several inaugurals across the country. Amid both Republican governors’ speculative White House aspirations, this is another element of interest to an otherwise routine political ceremony.
