On Wednesday, April 18, at the Ohio Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting, The Ohio Chamber’s Chamber Action Alliance held another successful Chamber Day at the Capital for the organization’s key stakeholders.
At the meeting over 60 local chamber executives and their member companies were on hand to participate in programming tailored to give their organizations information and resources as they plan advocacy initiatives for the next 365 days.
The agenda included the following topics:
- Ohio Chamber Employer Toolkit Presentation on the Opioid Epidemic
- Ohio Chamber Research Foundation presentation on the organization mission and how chambers of commerce can get involved
- Political presentation including an overview of the redistricting ballot issue
- Legislative update with members of the Ohio Chamber’s government affairs team
Additionally, Andy Piccolantonio and Laz Picciano from our membership team were on hand to discuss a new membership initiative for local chambers of commerce.
The Ohio Chamber of Commerce Affiliate Program – a way of offering our programming through your chamber to help increase membership acquisition and retention. Your member would pay $50 in addition to your membership dues to become an affiliate member of the Ohio Chamber. The only requirement is that the businesses have ten or fewer employees. Your chamber will receive a custom, co-branded one pager outlining affiliate member benefits included in this offer. By partnering with the Ohio Chamber, you will be able to leverage this opportunity to expand your membership base.
