Penn National Gaming, Inc. is a respected leader in the gaming and racing industries. While gaming is a relatively new industry in Ohio, Penn National Gaming strives to be a valued business partner and ethical role model within the business community.
Since being founded in 1994, the company has grown from their headquarters in Wyomissing, PA to facilitating 40 properties across 18 states, including four properties in Ohio with 2,434 team members, with an additional corporate presence at their Las Vegas Service Centers. The properties range from casinos, racinos (racetrack and casino facilities) and racetracks.
Penn National Gaming’s Ohio presence led them to membership with the Ohio Chamber of Commerce.
“We felt it was crucial to us to ensure we were a member of the business community to share knowledge of our business and gather support as well,” said Jason Birney, vice president and general manager of Hollywood Casino Columbus for the past 10 years.
Birney notes they are excited to network and support the Ohio Chamber’s efforts toward business advocacy as new members.
