The ballots are officially set for the Ohio 2020 primary election on March 17. Over the holiday season, we saw the filing deadline pass, showing us everyone who filed to run for office. In the weeks between the transition from 2019 to 2020, the certification deadline – where candidate filings are approved or disqualified for various reasons – passed, as well as the write-in candidate declaration deadline. We now know officially who is running in the 2020 primary in Ohio, and you can check out the Ohio Chamber’s official candidate list which includes State House of Representatives, State Senate, U.S. House and Ohio Court of Appeals primary candidates.
If you look through the list, there are some very interesting primaries shaping up. You can cross reference the list and check which district you live or run your business in on the State House map or State Senate map to see who is running to be your state representative or senator.
