UPDATE: Following the Ohio Senate’s passage of HB 75 last week, the Ohio House voted not to concur with the Senate changes during their session today. This means a conference committee is needed to reconcile the differences in the bill before it can head to Gov. DeWine’s desk for his signature.

The Ohio Chamber’s amendments that are currently a part of the BWC budget are supported by lawmakers in both the Ohio House and Ohio Senate, so we do not expect these amendments to be stripped from the bill in conference committee. Yet, we will continue to monitor the progress of HB 75 until it is enacted and highlight how our amendments move Ohio’s business climate forward.
