On Tuesday, October 4 Heritage Thermal Services hosted the Ohio Chamber of Commerce and state Rep. Tim Ginter during the third stop on the Ohio Chamber’s All for Ohio tour.

The visit consisted of an insightful facility tour followed by a roundtable discussion on public policy. Topics of discussion included everything from EPA regulations, to the impact of medical marijuana.

“The Ohio Chamber of Commerce is a strong voice for small business on topics ranging from changes with OSHA rules to taxation to health insurance to environmental affairs,” Stewart Fletcher, vice president of operations and general manager at the Heritage facility, said. “We value their contributions greatly as an advocate for business.”

Heritage Thermal Services is a company that provides advanced incineration services for wastes generated by manufacturing and services industries. The company is dedicated to protecting the environment for their local community and future generations. HTS is one of only eight facilities of its kind in the United States. The company employs over 170 individuals, 40 percent of which live in the East Liverpool community.

The purpose of the All for Ohio tour is to facilitate critical conversations between business leaders of our member companies and state legislators in order to help create sound public policy that will foster a stronger business climate in Ohio.
