The Ohio Chamber of Commerce Research Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, is now accepting proposals from qualified research firms to partner with in compiling & completing a state-wide technology-based economic opportunity & development plan.
The fast-paced and ever improving industry of technology makes it almost impossible to predict all the economic opportunities that will emerge within the next decade. However, Ohio could be recognized as a technology-based leader by properly planning and paving the way for these opportunities to sprout, develop and mature. It is in the best interest of the economic well-being and long-term competitiveness of Ohio to be forward thinking about the future of this industry base, workforce needs, policies and incentives that could positively impact growth.
We are looking for proposals from trusted and well-known research firms to assist in the development of a plan that would include, but is not limited to: possible tax incentives, joint venture opportunities, government programs, workforce development, infrastructure needs and upgrades, best practices and public policies.
The request for proposal can be downloaded at http://ohiochamberfoundation.com/projects/ or requested by emailing [email protected]
Deadline for proposals: Monday, August 14, 2017 at 5:00pm EST.
