The Ohio Chamber of Commerce began as the Ohio State Board of Commerce back in November of 1893. This November, the chamber is celebrating its 125th anniversary! On November 8th, there are two opportunities for our members and friends to celebrate with us.
From 4:00-5:30 p.m. the Ohio Chamber is hosting an open house of our new office at 34 S. Third St., Suite 100, Columbus, OH 43215. It’s a great opportunity to see the new facilities and talk with the staff. Drinks and appetizers will be available. There will also be a gift basket silent auction benefiting the Ohio Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee.
Following the open house, at 6:00 p.m. is the Member Gala at the Renaissance Hotel, 50 N. Third Street, just a few blocks from our headquarters. Dinner and the program will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. The gala will feature a look back at the Ohio Chamber’s history, recognition of founding members that have continued to be loyal members, and prominent political figures in Ohio to address the audience.
